I've been so lame lately, I haven't posted much at all. Sorry! Here's a little catch up........
Violet started ballet a few weeks ago and absolutely loves it. Her friends Brae and Grace are in the class as well and I know she really loves that. I also really love the fact that their mommies are there (my darling friends Lindsey and Emily) for me to talk with.
Violet and I had our "date" last Sunday and went to the museum so she could see the "Egyptian exhibit with REAL mummies!" We had such a blast. Of course that was the first place she wanted to go and then we went to the rest. I think the dioramas (I am pretty certain I spelled that wrong) came in second. Especially the Batswana area. It was so nice to take our time and answer all her questions without interruptions. When we got in the car she said-"I'm stoked that no boys are coming!"
That girl and I are inseperable and sometimes a little too much alike. This often leads to power struggles that I'm sure everyone that's close to me has witnessed.
My Spring Break was spent in Pueblo. Hell. The end.
Violet's spring break (the week after mine) was spent inside due to the blizzard. That is the worst nightmare of both Violet and me. We are NOT homebodies at all. It almost did me (us) in. Travis could stay in the house for a week as long as there were sports on T.V. and cereal in the cupboard. No thanks!
My poor sweet Ollie has croup. I knew once I heard the bark like cough that he was in for it. Poor baby. He is so sweet, he even tries in his sickness to be happy and smile-well the first day anyway. Today he had little red eyelids and a glazed over look. I wish I could take away his discomfort. I love him so much.
My big, mature, grown up boy popped a second tooth. That's right ladies-he's a man now. Watch out.
Travis is working his ass off towards the LSAT which he'll take on June 8th. Please pray that he does well so we don't end up somewhere icky. I couldn't take an icky move. I'm WAY too attached to my friends. (Kristin-remember you are NOT allowed to go anywhere!)
I was again growing out my hair. Got to about an inch longer than usual and snipped it. My awesome friend Kyrsten did it for me and I love it. I'm sure no one is surprised I gave it up (Emily!) I just need to come to grips with the fact that I will forever have short black hair. Done and Done.
I am really excited about the upcoming birthday parties for my kids. I love making a huge deal over them! I can't believe how fast this year has gone and my little bunny will be one and Violet will be four. Crazy!
