Pillow Talk

Ollie's Fave new game-Jumping on "Pee-Dose" (Pillows) it's delicious.

Swinging is serious business.

We finally found our park-why it took us so long, I'll never know but I will say it's not nearly as fun without the Mama Mafia. Miss you ladies (and your adorable children!)

Ollie prefers to relax in the hot tub.

Look at that brave girl floating in the deep water-thanks miss Kristin!

Can I just say how nice it is to have a pool to swim in that nobody died in? (Long story-Canyon Ranch-the news covered it a while back ) Well, it is. It's also twenty steps out my front door. Love it.

Cars, Cheese Curls and Ramona and Beezus

*Currently the ONLY thing my son wants to eat. Maybe he's into orange this week....

These are all my kids favorite things........

P.S. Ramona and Beezus-seriously sweet movie. I almost cried NUMEROUS times. Made me so in love with my girl. All moms+daughters should take a girl's date and see it-we did and loved it!

Huntington Beach

All these cuties were in young lifeguard training and Ollie thought it was awesome-he decided to join them in push ups.

I still find it a bit unbelievable that we can just drive to the beach. It's weird. Granted, the ocean has been VERY cold so we haven't gone all the way in yet (except Travis who prompty got OUT) but nonetheless, it's been amazing to be able to take a day trip to the water. We met up with my sister in law and her husband's family (who was very sweet to less us crash their party) where they were having a family reunion. We went to Huntington Beach and played for the whole day. We had so much fun just soaking up the sea air and watching the kids play. Ollie was like a cat who snuck outside for a little romp in the dirt-he rolled and rolled in the sand. Violet was so determined to play in the water that she wasn't letting 60 degree temps bother her-man this little girl is strong willed. I'm gonna need valium and lots of deep breathing for her teenage years. We all got a lot of sun and it's so funny that you can tell I was rushing to put on sun screen. All of us are spotty like pink and white leopards. My boobs got burned. Bad. I forgot to get them altogether. It was the first time I actually felt like-OK, I could get used to this California lifestyle. I've decided that if all my friends and family would just move here with me, things would be totally perfect. So, stop being selfish.

The Millward Stay-Cay

So while Travis and his brother "Big Rig Brown" were driving our massive Uhaul pulling the car and Van to Cali for our move, I stayed with one of my besties L-Dog Millward. I wanted to do this for a few reasons:

1. I had no desire to take my two small children and 8month pregnant ass for a two (probably three day) trip to California.

2. I love Lindsay and my kids love the Millward kids.

3. I want Travis and I to stay married and surely I wouldn't have made this move with him had we tried to do this move on our own.

4. I knew I could talk everyone's favorite Nan Nan into flying with us.

We had such a fun time together, Violet had her first sleepover and loved it! Ollie and Maddox had a blast (even though I think Maddox got a little fed up with sharing, I don't blame the poor kid-Ollie's toys were driving in the back of the truck to California so we had nothing to contribute). I love me some Millwards and I can't wait for us to do this again-Thank you so much for having us! Next time I'll make sure to bring more organic snacks so Mike doesn't eat them all.

Leaving with all the ladies there was the worst part. I tried SO hard to hold back the tears but asking a pregnant woman not to cry is not happenin. I love you all so very much.

The New Digs

Our MASSIVE outdoor space-so big in fact that the kids can ride their scooters/cars back and forth! love it! (these pictures totally don't do the size any justice)

Inspirational pillows that WILL get me through late nights with baby #3

The "Big Girl Desk"

My new kitchen is quite larger than the last one with all new appliances, new flooring, new countertops (that aren't white formica!!!!) Note: Fish in upper left hand corner.

Here's some shots of our new place-keep in mind that I have not (and don't plan to) paint any of the walls which is sort of like having a recovering addict live in a crack house-and also remember we've only been here a couple of weeks. I am loving the extra bedroom and amount of storage space we have here. We also have a palm tree trunk right outside our front room window-that makes me happy. Violet is so happy to have her own room (and her new desk that she can have for her "homework" that's coming along with kindergarten). Ollie still ends up hanging out with her in there though!
