THE 5k....

My wonderful and amazing angel-on-earth friend Emily set up a 5k fundraiser for some friends battling some crazy medical bills. We all see people who need help and wonder what we could do to help them, but my friend Emily MAKES IT HAPPEN! Not only was she able to get some places to donate things, she was able to talk down some of the bills! Can you believe it? She is so awesome, every time you need a haggler, call her. Her precious face gets what she wants! I went to run with my girls and was a little scared since I've never done anything like this before, but I loved it! It was so nice to be tackling this obstacle together and I couldn't have wished for a better outcome! Not only did these people in need get some help, I was able to do something I never thought I could with some of my best friends (and it didn't matter that my ipod I stayed up syncing with new music only loaded two songs!) Oh and on a side note: the sunglasses belong to Travis not me.

Ad-Crushing

Ollie's favorite activity lately has been getting the ads from the Sunday paper, spreading them all over the floor,crawling over them and then ripping them. It's so hilarious that I had to get it on film-it's probably the fastest any of you have ever seen him move! Man I love this boy!

Becoming Braver-

My little lazybones has finally decided it's OK to let go while standing up. I haven't yet figured out if he is overly cautious or just lazy (maybe a little bit of both actually!) Anyway, this is a milestone for us-so we recorded it. 16 months old by the way. He does things his own way on his own time for sure!
