Travis got his first acceptance! We're so excited and hoping to have many options. This law school is in Jacksonville, FL. Thoughts?

I like what I like.

My Camera is busted. Totally this time. How you ask? Sweet sweet little Ollie (who wouldn't EVER do a thing to upset me) Threw it to the ground like he was spiking a football. Then he smiled at me with that one-and-only Ollie smile. Good thing God gave that to him........

I had a revelation today. We had to do this personality test at school so the teacher would be able to understand the kind of "learners" we are. All things on my list were completely true, as usual when i take these kinds of tests. The one thing that stuck out at me was Perfectionist. I am in so many ways NOT a perfectionist and I always just assumed that that was the flaw in my Personality Reveal.

The more I thought about this, the more I realized I am only a perfectionist in the sense that I am always trying to be better (more "perfect"). I want to be a better mom, I want to be a better wife, I want to be a better friend, I want to be healthier, I want to run more, I want to be hotter, etc.

Then it hit me.

Shut up. You are so blessed to have what you have. Shut up. Be grateful and Shut up.

So-I decided to make a list of things about myself that I am now proud of and will probably never change.

1. I will probably always have short, black hair. I love it. It's easy and it's mine. I also can't stand to NOT have a pixie cut when I see a woman with one. As beautiful as long hair is-it's just not me.

2. I will always make mistakes as a mother. As long as I love my kids purely and do my best at that moment-they'll forgive me.

3. I will always fart out loud no matter who hears me and laugh. I said it. I'm completely immature.

4. I will always have too many purses/diaper bags despite the fact that I know it's totally practical to only have one. I enjoy them. A lot. I also get bored easily.

5. I will always obsess over school work. Maybe this isn't always bad. Wait. Yes it is.

6. I will see every metal show that my brother plays. Even pregnant and unhip.

7. I will always think vintage is better than new. Even if the lines are sleaker, cleaner, fancier and more grown up.

8. I will always wear red lipstick even when my lips crack and it seaps upward when I'm old.

9. I will always love my tattoos even when they are saggy.

10. I will always re-paint my walls and re-decorate rooms a couple times a year for the rest of my life (sorry Trav)

11. I will always prefer cheap, plastic loud jewelry to the real stuff

12. I will always pick a bright color over a neutral even if neutral is MUCH more practical

13. I will always change my mind. I do that a lot. No I don't. Yes I do..................

14. I will always watch too much T.V. I like it. Esp. Jersey Shore. I said it and I'm not ashamed

15. I will always want company. I prefer to be with people than be alone. I love my friends and they have made me a much happier person.

I am going to stop freaking out about things I can't change. Your hear that subconscious? That perfectionist chick can suck it because my life is perfect the way it is.
