Day two-No Binky......

Have I ever mentioned how much I want to eat Ollie? Well, I do. Because he's delicious and sweet. Travis put him down for a nap without his binky the other day and he went right to sleep. So, as an experiment, I hid them all and he hasn't asked for it once. Oh, and he's also slept two full nights without it. I won't compare him to my other child (who's name I wouldn't DARE mention) who cried for two weeks when we took her's away at age two. That would be mean to compare them, so I won't. But-MAN! Love this boy-he has my heart.

P.S. Normally I don't have this massive amount of candy laying around. Only every other Monday.

Snowed in (again)

Happy Birthday Trav!

Travis turned 31 a couple weeks ago and I was bound and determined to make a cake for him. As most of my dear friends know-I HATE baking. I really have begun to enjoy cooking as I am having less and less disasters lately. Phew! I really wanted to make him a cake he would love and i did! It's a skateboard cake I found online. Pay no attention to the fact that (clearly) a child could've done better but for me, this is pretty dang good. Tasted yummy too. (I didn't cry once either-had to walk away a couple times before punching the cake, but I didn't cry). Happy birthday Trav! We love you!
